Will Starburst on SciFi Channel Site
Farscape, the most inventive (and truly beloved) science-fiction TV series of the past decade (sorry, Battlestar ain't it, and Enterprise didn't boldly go enough) will return as a ten-part webisode series on SciFi.com, the site of the Sci-Fi Channel.
With one of the most loyal and rabidly hard-core followings, Farscape was last seen three years ago as a mini-series, The Peacekeeper Wars. It's not known which of the original cast, which include Ben Browder and Claudia Black (most recently seen in Stargate SG-1), will appear on the webisodes, though producers say they're hoping to have some of the ensemble turn up.
Of course, the great hope among "Scapers" is that the web series generates the re-launch of the series, or at least more TV movies.
Meanwhile, pick up the four seasons of the original Farscape and The Peacekeeper Wars, or, if you're a Net-flicker, go on a renting spree. You won't be disappointed.
